Fear makes us do crazy things,
Like giving voiceless beings posthumous wings.
Acting purely out of fear inhibits our vision,
Ensuring long-term we make the incorrect decision.

Feeling afraid is not unfair,
However that cannot mean we decide not to care.
Not care for the voiceless, ones who have no malice,
Fear barricades us defensively within indifference’s palace.

Being scared itself isn’t wrong,
its the actions that come after that plague us life-long.
It’s time now to stop sharpening our knife,
Our fear isn’t a worthy excuse to take anothers life.


Murder doesnt make us any safer, it only our kills humanity further.
