Tools that assist me with coping

- ‘Fatal to the flesh’– mimics the trickling of blood when c*tting the white back ground. Often reduce feelings of self harm. It helps achieve the feeling of release and exhaling.
- ‘Calm harm’– is an exceptional app that tailors your coping needs to you. It lets you discover what kinds of calming/de-escaletion work for you. It works when you might feel triggered, overwhelmed or just dysregulated. I recommend downloading the app and getting familiarised with its different functions.
- Mandala/colouring apps- It can be an incredibly calming and help refocus an overactive mind.
- Yarn detangling/sorting apps- It is can help divert your attention and give you a break period.
- Math games/Sudoku- Totally helps take your mind off a problem since your mind is focused on problem-solving this issue. If you feel out of control, these games may help with a small-win. If it is timed it is often more effective.
